Merging Multiple Customers

In this tutorial, you will see how to merge customers so that all the job data is under one set of details.

Please note that this is an ***irreversible*** process - we would therefore recommend running a backup beforehand. To do this, head to Settings > Data > Manage Backups > Run a Manual Backup.

Go to 'Customers'.

Then click the pink three dots > 'Merge Customers'.

First, you will need to select the target customer to merge the other into. You can do this either by scrolling through the list or typing in the search bar.

Now select the customer(s) you would like to be merged with the initial customer.

Once you have selected these customers, click 'Done'.

Make sure the 'Merge' and 'Record' toggles are enabled if needed.

Now click 'Merge'.

Alternatively, you can merge the customers individually, by selecting the 'source' customers one at a time.

You will then be able to see the separate jobs under the one customer. As well as the 'Merge Notes' in the customer description.
