How to Order Shipping for HCU BookPass Books

This guide will walk you through the process of ordering the shipping option for books for residential classes as part of HCU's BookPass program. This shipping option is provided as an alternative to picking up the books from the BookPass window located within the University Store on campus.

Open a web browser and navigate to [hc.edu/bookpass](https://hc.edu/academics/bookpass/)

Scroll down and click on "Visit the HCU BookPass Store"

This will open a new tab and route you to the Online BookPass store. In the search bar at the top, type "**access shipping fee**" and press enter or click on the item

Verify that the product matches the description, price, and image below.

Note the product details state that although additional shipping charges will be displayed (beyond the $5.00 cost of this item), they will not be charged to the customer.

Click "Add to Bag" to select the item and begin the checkout process

Continue shopping, or if you're ready to check out then click "View Bag & Checkout"

Review your bag and click "Checkout" when ready.

If you have previously purchased through this website and have an account, you may sign in here. Otherwise, you may "Continue As Guest" by clicking the link below

Enter your email address and click "Proceed to Delivery Method"

Click "Ship to an Address"

Enter your preferred delivery address for your book shipment. Then click "Use this Address"

You will be prompted to verify your mailing address against the shipping carrier database. Confirm the address by clicking "Use this Address" or clicking "Use What I Entered" instead.

If you have any special instructions, check the "Special Instructions" box and enter those into the field. This may include notes regarding a gate code for your subdivision, where to leave a package, or anything else the BookPass store will need to know or the package carrier will need to know. If you would only like select books shipped and you plan to pick up the remainder of the books on campus at a later date, please note the books you would like shipped in the "Special Instructions" field. If you do not have any special instructions, you can leave the box unchecked and leave the field blank. Click "Proceed to Payment Method" when finished.

Note that your Order Summary will display Delivery charges and Estimated tax in addition to your Item Subtotal. However, you will only be charged $5.00 for the "Access Shipping Fee" item. The delivery and estimated tax charges will be removed after checkout.

Select your preferred payment method, enter your payment information, then click "Proceed to Contact Information"

Enter your phone number. If you choose, you may also enter a password to create an account to track your order. Then, click "Place Order" to complete your order.

Once your order is placed, you'll see an order confirmation page and an order confirmation email will sent to you.
