How to Purchase an Academic Year Parking Permit (via Credit or Debit Card )

The tutorial below simulates the process of purchasing an Academic Year permit using a credit or debit card. The process would be similar for purchasing an Academic Year Residential parking permit with the key differences being Step 3 choosing the Permit Category.

Navigate to [permitparking.stanford.edu](https://permitparking.stanford.edu)

Click "Purchase Permits"

Click the desired Permit Category. For this example, we are choosing the "C" Permit Category.

Click the "Academic Year" Permit Type. Please note that for residential permits, there is an additional step to select the Parking Location.

Click the "Start Date" field to open the Date Picker

Select the desired start date. Click the "»" arrow at the top-right of the Date Picker window to switch to the next month if needed.

Click "Confirm"

Click an existing vehicle (or click the "Add Vehicle" button to add a new vehicle)

Click "Confirm"

Review and Click "Agree to Terms and Conditions and Continue"

Complete all information in the form and Click "Checkout"

A receipt page will appear, and the transaction is now complete!
