How to record and share a mock interview using Cardinal Careers (powered by Symplicity). Recommended browser: Google Chrome. Instructions included for BUS 201 recorded mock interview assignment.

Symplicity

Navigate to <https://cardinalcareers-csm.symplicity.com/students/app/home> Current students & alumni with logins: Sign in with your username and password. Example: frlast01 (all lower-case)\ password\ \ Alumni: Click "sign up" on the right to set up your login information and request an account. If you graduated prior to 2001 or need just need help, email [ulmer@lousiville.edu](mailto:ulmer@lousiville.edu) or call [[(502)852.7756]]for assistance in requesting an account.

Click Student/Alumni Sign in.

Click Resources.

Click Mock Interview.

Choose your interview by searching the the database of keywords or create your own. For BUS 201, search "201" as a keyword.

Click Record New Attempt

Click "Continue"

Test your microphone and camera. Allow permission if your browser requests it.

Click "Practice Question" to access a practice question before you record your actual interview.

The practice question module will allow you to practice with the recorded interview format. You have 30 seconds to prepare a response and 3 minutes to respond. \ \ After reading the instructions, click Next.

Click "Practice Question"

Click "Record Answer."

When finished, click "Stop Recording"

You can repeat the practice question if you like or start the interview by clicking Start Interview.

Click "Let's Begin"

Click Record Answer to start your first question.

Click "Stop Recording" when you are finished.

Click "Next Question" and proceed through all 6 questions.

Click "Request Feedback" to send your recording to someone.

For BUS 201, type in your BUS 201 instructor's email address here and click Submit.

You can also "Review Interview" with additional options.

Options available on the mock interview dashboard include: - Review - review your responses AND feedback when your instructor provides it - Share - email it to anyone, but does not include option to provide embedded feedback - Request feedback - email it to your instructor or career coach - Download - Record new attempt Note: *Emails will come from [UniversityofLouisville@csm.symplicity.com](mailto:UniversityofLouisville@csm.symplicity.com), so please ensure the recipients are aware and check their spam/junk mailboxes in case the email does not appear in their inbox.*
