How to Register for Access to AEU Academy

The following steps show the registration process on a desktop computer. You may also register via your mobile device and follow the same steps.

**Navigate to [academy.amequity.com](http://academy.amequity.com)**

**Click "Register"**

**On the next screen, add your email address.** This will serve as your AEU Academy username. **Note:** Using your work email address will expedite your AEU Academy approval process, as we can more quickly confirm that you are affiliated with an active customer of AEU.

**Complete the fields for first name, last name, preferred language, and time zone.** *These are required fields.*

**Check the boxes to accept the terms of AEU Academy's privacy policy and terms of service, then click "Next".**

**Complete the "Company" field.** *This is a required field.* **Note:** Populating this field completely and accurately will expedite your AEU Academy approval process, as we can more quickly confirm that your company is an active customer of AEU.

**Complete the "User Type" field.** *This is a required field.*
Select **AEU Employee** if you are... an AEU employee. Select **Broker** if you are an insurance professional. Select **Policyholder** if you work for a company that has an active insurance policy managed by AEU. Select **Other External** if none of these options apply to you.

**Complete the "Location" field using City, ST format.** *This is a required field.* For example, enter "Mobile, AL" instead of "Mobile, Alabama".

**Click on the "Primary Industry" drop-down menu and select the industry in which your company primarily operates.** If you aren't sure, you may leave it blank.

**Click "Register".**

**You'll see this screen** indicating that your request for access to AEU Academy has been sent to AEU for approval.

**You'll also receive this email confirming your request.** **Note:** If you don't see it in your inbox, please check your SPAM or junk folders (and add [aeu.academy@amequity.com](mailto:aeu.academy@amequity.com) to your list of safe senders).

Within one business day, our AEU Academy administrator will confirm that your company is an active customer of AEU. They will approve your registration request, and **you'll then receive an email that looks like this:**

**Click the blue button to verify your email address.** It will open your web browser.

Your web browser will open and you'll see the AEU Academy login screen. **Before you can login to AEU Academy for the first time, you'll need to reset your password.** Click the "Need to reset your password?" link to do so.

**Enter the email address** that you used to sign up with AEU Academy and click "Send Reset Link."

You'll see this screen which confirms your password reset request was submitted.

You'll receive this email with a password reset link. **Click the link.**

Your web browser will open and you'll see this screen. Populate the fields with your new password and click "Change Password".
