How to Renew Accommodations (Semester Request)

Each semester, you will need to submit a semester request to renew your accommodations. You will do this for all the accommodations you intend to use for that semester, including any residential accommodations. Accommodations are not active until a semester request is done and you have shared your letter with your instructors.

Symplicity

Navigate and log into[Accommodate.](https://smcm-accommodate.symplicity.com/students/)

Click "Accommodation"

Click "Semester Request"

Find the semester you're looking for in the "Semester" dropdown.

Click "Apply Search"

Click "Add New".

Select the semester you want again.

Click "Submit For All Accommodations". This will send us an notification that you have renewed your accommodations for the next semester. We will send you a new letter to share with your professors.

Note: If you do not want to renew all of your previous accommodations, click "Review the Renewal" button to select the accommodations you wish to use.
