How to Request Monday Board Access

This guide provides a straightforward process for requesting access to Monday.com, ensuring users understand the differences between Member and Viewer accounts. It outlines clear steps to navigate the ticketing system, select appropriate options, and effectively communicate the reason for the access request.

First, navigate to the System Access Request Ticketing system <https://help.verano.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=26239529665684>

Click "Continue with Verano SSO"

In the ticket under "Please choose your issue below" you should see "System Access Request"

Next in "Department" we will select "IT" from the dropdown

Once you select "IT" the dropdown will update with new options. Select "Monday.com"

Next in "Request Type" select from the dropdown "New"

Under "Select Role / License" select "Work Management"

Once you select "Work Management" the choices on the dropdown will update to "Member" or "Viewer". Member accounts allow users to create, edit and change Monday boards. These are paid seats, so if you do require a member account, make sure to be detailed on why you require it in the description box later in the form. The alternative is a "Viewer" account. Viewers can view Monday boards as well as receive email notifications of any changes made to the items that are assigned to them on the board. With the limited access however, they cannot edit, add or delete any items / boards. Viewer accounts are free and there are an unlimited amount of seats.

Enter in your email address or the email address of the team member that requires the account

Next, add a "Requested Completion Date" of your choosing

Finally, add a short description as to why you or the team member requires access

And once all of the above is completed, select the "Submit" button at the bottom

You should receive email updates on your ticket from IT and once completed, you will receive another email from [Monday.com](http://Monday.com) to set up your profile. You will need to set up this profile regardless if you have a Member account or a Viewer account.
