How to Request a Payment from a Booker Profile

With this feature, you can request payment directly from the Booker Profile for an invoice generated in a reservation. Please follow this guide to find out how to request a payment from the booker profile.

Before you begin this task, activate and set up the Payment Request Template in the Documents Module to enable automatic payment requests and reminders to bookers. Open the **reservation** card and ensure the **invoice/folio** has been generated.

Click on the booker’s name in the **Booker** section of the reservation.

Click on the **View Balances** button under the booker’s name. This will take you to the upcoming Booker Profile page.

Once created, the invoice will appear under the ‘Outstanding Invoices’ section in the booker profile. If listed here, it means no payment has been linked or made yet.

Click **Request Payment** next to the invoice in the booker profile to initiate a payment request.

A popup window will appear, allowing you to: - Choose the language for the payment request. - Confirm or update the booker’s email (pre-filled from the profile). Click ‘**Send Reminder**’ to send the Payment Request Email to the booker. This email includes a secure payment link for immediate payment using multiple payment options (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, GiroPay).

Once the booker completes the payment: - It will reflect in both the reservation card under the Payments section and your RaccoonPay dashboard. - The payment will be automatically linked to the invoice/folio, moving the entry from Outstanding Invoices to Invoice History in the Booker Profile, marking the sale as completed.
