How to Revoke a Transaction with a Deposit that was Bank Reconciled

This guide is for users who select "No" when Uploading to Accounting, and use Undeposited Funds to record their deposits. Review the Transaction

Navigate to the Commission Detail page of the Transaction.

Click the "Revoke" button.

Click "OK"

The system will not allow for a reconciled Accounting entry to be revoked. Click "OK"

Review Journal Entries

Click "View Entries" under the "Accounting Details" table.

Click the "View In Accounting" button of the Main Journal Entry to review.

Once the Main Journal Entry populates in BE Accounting, click on the "Linked Transactions" button.

Click the date hyperlink for the Deposit.

The Deposit will populate. The "R" icon next to the word "Deposit" indicates that the Deposit has been Reconciled.

If the Deposit has been Bank Matched instead of Reconciled, a "C" (cleared) icon will show next to the word "Deposit".

Click the "R" icon.

A table will populate with the details of the Bank Reconciliation.

To undo the Reconciled Bank Record, please request this directly from your Brokerage Engine Customer Success Manager.

Revoke the Transaction

Once your Brokerage Engine Customer Success Manager confirms that the Bank Record Reconciliation item has been undone, you can proceed with the following steps.

Click the "Revoke" button.

Click "OK"

The Transaction can now be Reopen and then Re-Uploaded to Accounting.

To redo the Reconciled Bank Record, please request this directly from your Brokerage Engine Customer Success Manager.
