1
Navigate to <https://app.thriveaccounts.com/> and open the Stock Module.
2
Click "Stock Valuation"
3
Click "Run Report" to generate the Stock Valuation report. By default this will list the report by product.
4
On the left of the report will be the reference code and description for the product,
5
and on the right is the amount currently in stock, the cost price, and the total valuation of stock on hand.
6
To change the type of grouping the report is presented as, use the report type dropdown.
7
Click "Group" to view the report based on the Product Group a product belongs to.
8
Here our products are grouped together - those with no product group are at the top,
9
and products belonging to a product group are listed out below.
10
There is a running total for each group, along with a grand total at the bottom of the report.
11
Next, let's choose "Location".
12
This will group our report based on the location a product is in.
13
Next, let's choose "Supplier".
14
This will group our report based on the Supplier of a product.
15
We have a number of options for filtering our report - such as a specific Product Group,
16
a specific location,
17
searching for the Main Supplier,
18
choosing a single product,
19
Choosing whether or not to include zero balance items,
20
filtering up to a set accounting period,
21
and choosing whether to value the stock based on the "Standard Cost", or the "Last Cost".
22
Lastly, you can export your report to a CSV file or to a PDF using the download icons in the top right.
