**Olathe Public Schools teachers and staff members:** If you currently use your OPS email address for your child's school communications, you will need to contact their school and change your email address to a personal email. **Canvas Teacher and Observer accounts cannot use the same email address.**

Navigate to [https://olatheschools.instructure.com/login/canvas](https://olatheschools.instructure.com/login/canvas)

Click **Forgot Password?**

Type the email address on file with your child's school. Click **Request Password**.

Click on the email from **Instructure Canvas**.

Click **Click here to set a new password**.

Enter a new password and confirm the new password.

Click **Update Password**.

From here, you will be routed to your Canvas Observer Account.
