How to: Sign up as New Affiliate or Club

This guide will take you through the process of signing up a new Affiliate or Club. You will learn how to: 1. Submit a request through your portal 2. Await approval of your request 3. Select an Affiliate membership & fill out additional details 4. Select EA Insurance (If applicable) 5. To purchase EA insurance for your club, you must have an **EA account.** \ Don't have one?\ See:[**How to: Sign Up for an Equestrian Australia Account**](https://scribehow.com/viewer/How_to_Sign_Up_for_an_Equestrian_Australia_Account__RaKBxX4hSUKPZNg2s5iDFw)\ ***Please note:*** *You don't need an EA membership, just an account. Please use the club email when signing up.*

**Access your profile**\ Under **My Profile**, select **Profile**.

**Credentials Tab** - Click **Credentials** to view and manage your credentials. - Click **Add Credentials** to enter a new accreditation or qualification.

**Submit a new affiliate request**\ Click **New Affiliate Request** to begin the process of signing up a new Affiliate or Club.

**Save your request**\ Click **Save** to submit your Affiliate request. It will be marked as **pending for review** to check the information.

**Pending approval**\ After submission, your request will appear under **Credentials** with the status **Pending Approval** until it has been reviewed. ***Note***: You may be contacted in regards to being an administrator for the club by your State branch.

**Contact your** **State Branch** To check your status & to confirm you are set up as your club administrator, please contact your state branch. **Set up your affiliate membership**\ Once your request is approved, you can set up your **Affiliate Membership** in the portal. To begin, select **Menu**.

**Club affiliation**\ Under **My Club**, select **Club Affiliation**. This will take you to your **Club Profile.**

**Club Profile** Select **Club Affiliation** to renew your membership.

**Club Categories** Please select "**Affiliations for Clubs**" to take you to the membership options.

**Affiliations for Clubs**\ There will be tiles to select: - State Affiliation (Membership) - EA Marsh Insurance These will need to be done seperate for clubs who need both, however if clubs have their own insurance they will only select '**State Affiliation**' For this example, we have chosen **Queensland’s membership type** to demonstrate the process. \ Please select the **QLD Club Affiliate** tile to continue.

**Complete mandatory sections**\ You must complete all mandatory fields. As part of this process, you will be asked to provide: - **Insurance options** (Please provide a copy of your COC if not using Marsh Insurance provided through EA.) - **Committee member details** (including the primary contact) - **Incorporation number / ABN Number** - **Evidence of business name registration** - **Club constitution** (For club memberships only) - Agreement to **Terms and Conditions** ***Note:*** *Incomplete or missing information may delay the approval of your affiliation.*

**Submit your application**\ After completing all required fields, click **Finish** to submit your application. ***Important:*** Affiliations will not be finalised until all paperwork has been reviewed and accepted by the **EA State Branch office**.

### **How to Purchase Marsh Insurance through the EA National Insurance Program** - When prompted, choose **No, not yet** to return to the **Club Affiliation** options. - Repeat **Step 10**, then select **Marsh Insurance** to add it to your cart.\ \ **Don’t need EA Insurance?** - Select **Yes, proceed to cart** to finalise your purchase.

**EA Marsh Insurance**\ For Clubs that want to purchase the **Marsh Insurance through the** **EA National Program,** please select the **Marsh Insurance** tile

**Complete your details:**\ Please fill out the required information to **calculate the insurance** cover you require. Your insurance fee is calculated based on the information provided in the fields below.\ \ Once completed, select **'Finish'** to add this to your cart.

**Checkout**\ Now that you have both Club Affiliation and EA Insurance, \ select **"Yes, Proceed to Cart"**

**Checkout:** Please review your purchase and select **'Pay with Card'**

**Pay with Card**\ Fill out your card details, and select **Pay** *After payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your payment reference.*

**After Submission:**\ After approval, your details of your club will be populated under club details.\ You can change this any time.
