How to Submit SEED Grant Application

Click "Apply Now"

Click the "Organization Applying for Funding" field

Click "Organization Name"

Click "Next"

Select the "Yes" option

Click "Next"

Make a selection about if your project is taking place in a population of 5,000 or less

Select the "County" option

Click "Next"

Click "Edit"

Click the "What is your organization type?" field

Select appropriate organization field for your situation

Click the "County ( Please choose what county this project will take place in from the eligible counties listed. )" field

Click on county name

Click the "\*Requested Amount ( Minimum: $10,000 Maximum: $25,000 )" field

Type request amount

Click the "Does your project(s) include construction of any kind?" field

Click "Yes" or "No" depending on your project

Click the "Is the organization's legal address the same as account billing address?" field

Click "Yes" or fill in the appropriate billing information

Click the "Has the applicant organization been established more than three years?" field

Click your response

Click the "Has the applicant managed state or federal grant funds in the last four years?" field

Click your response

Click the "Have any of the funds been revoked, rescinded, or withheld due to grantee performance?" field

Click your response

Click the "Has the applicant had any financial audit findings within the past 5 years?" field

Click your response

Click the "Does the applicant have written policies and procedures in place for the management and administration of grant funds?" field

Click your response

Click the "Does the applicant have an experienced staff member or consultant to properly manage, comply with all requirements, and administer this grant?" field

Click your response

Click "Save for later"

Select the type of projects that you plan to apply for. If you have multiple projects under one category, you will be able to fill in the "count" or number of projects you have in that category in the next step.

Fill in the "Count" field for how many of each type of project you are applying for. For example, if you are applying for two Food Retail projects and one Libraries project, you would put two in the count field by Food Retail and one in the count field by Libraries.

Click the "What will this grant funding support and why?" field

Type in your response to the question "What will this grant funding support and why?"

Click the "\*Project Category" field

Select project type of choice

Click the "Project Name" field

Type your project name. Please come up with a name for the project that generally describes what you plan to do in a short, succinct way!

Click the "Address" field

Type project address

Click the "City" field

Type project city

Click the "County" field

Click project county

Click the "Zip or Postal Code" field

Type and click on zip code

Click "Save for later"

Click "Project(s) Description and Scope"

Type in "Project Description and Scope"

Click "Save for later"

Click "New" on the Budget Field

Fill in "Project Name" for the budget

Fill in amounts to budget for "Sources of Capital" and "Expenses"

Click "Save"

Click "New" on the Timeline section

Fill in details to the "Scope of Work/Goal" text fields

Click "Save"

Click "Upload File"

Click "Upload Files"

Click "Done"

Click "Save." Repeat this process for all required documents and any additional documents you would like to include.

Select the check marks for the "Statement of Assurances"

Click "Save for later"
