Adjustment Request: Project Period/or Extension

This guide provides a step-by-step process for submitting a Grant Adjustment Request related to project periods or extensions, ensuring compliance and proper documentation. By following these instructions, users can efficiently navigate the platform and complete their submissions accurately.

Agatesoftware

From the Home/Dashboard page, click "**Searches**".

Click **"Awards"**

Select "**Grant Activated**" in the "**Status**" dropdown list.

Click **"Search"**

Select the award you would like to submit an adjustment request under.

In the left menu, scroll down to "Status Options" section and click "**Grant Adjustment Request Initiated**".

Click "**OK**".

In the left menu, scroll down to the "**Grant Adjustments**" section and click "**Grant Adjustment Request**".

Click **"Grant Adjustment Request"** you would like to complete.

To revise project period and/or extension, under "**Nature of Adjustment**" click the "Project Period and/or Extension" check box.

Revised start date to be on or after the current grant period.

Revised end date to be before or after the current grant period.

Write a detailed explanation of the revisions of **"Project Period/and or Extension"** in Section III.

Click **"Save & Submit Adjustment Request"**

Click "**OK**".

The "Document Status" should now be in "**Grant Adjustment Request Submitted/In Review**".

**Tip!** "Document Status" should now be in "Grant Adjustment Request Submitted/In Review" means your Grant Specialist has received your adjustment request and is under review. At this point, your Grant Specialist can change the status to: 1. **Supplemental Award Signatures Required** (your adjustment has been approved and you may proceed in editing your grant) 2. **Grant Adjustment Modifications Required** (revisions or additional information is required) 3. **Grant Adjustment Denied** (your adjustment has not been approved due to an unallowable request) Check your "**My Tasks**" on the home screen dashboard for next steps and/or your award for the current status.

Tip! Any modification to the award project period/extension requires a signed supplemental award letter.

In the left menu, scroll down to "**Required Award Attachments**" and click.

Click on **"Supplemental Award Letter"** download and sign.

Upload signed Supplemental Award Letter.

Click **"Save & Submit Supplemental Award Signatures".**

Click **"OK"**.

The "Document Status" should now be in "**Supplemental Award Signatures Submitted**".

When your award is in the "**Grant Activated**" status, this means your adjustment request has received final approval.
