How to Submit and Review Background Checks

Navigate to [https://dst.myavionte.com/app/#/dashboard/](https://dst.myavionte.com/app/#/dashboard/)

On the search bar on the top right corner of the page, type the candidate's name you'd like to process a background check.

On the candidate's profile, click on the screening tab on the top ribbon.

Click on the edit icon to update the consent date from the background authorization form

The background authorization form is found in the candidate's profile under the documents tab on the top ribbon

Under the talent given consent section click the toggle button acknowledge consent given

Click the "Select Date of Consent" field.

Select the date from the background authorization form (Step 6)

Click the save button

Click "Create a Background Check" and then select Yardstick.

Click the location dropdown.

Click this dropdown.

Click "Submit & Save Applicant"

Alert! Once the background check is completed you will receive two emails. 1. Email stating the background check is completed 2. Email with the background check score

Log into the Asurint portal

Authorize the log in

The report will show you the status of the background check with the score

Alert! THE STATUS IS NOT THE SCORE OF THE BACKGROUND CHECK JUST BECAUSE IT SAYS COMPLETED IT DOES NOT MEAN IT HAS BEEN PASSED IT ONLY MEANS THE BACKGROUND CHECK HAS BEEN PROCESSED

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to consumer report

Click the download icon to the right

Click on the downloads icon on the top right of the browser to open the detailed background report

The report will then open on a new tab

Click "Download this document"

Save the report

Go to Outlook and click "New Email"

Send an email to Jayme and Laura to review the background check report

Include the following in the email

Alert! When providing the start date, specify whether the candidate will start in the future and if the client allows for pending backgrounds, or if the start date has passed and the candidate has started while the background check is pending.

Click "Attach File..."

Attach the background check report to the email

Click "Send"

Alert! Either Jayme or Laura will respond to provide you with the necessary steps to take

Adverse Action

Click "Page 1 content"

Alert! Once Jayme or Laura advise to initiate the adverse action you will need to go back to the Asurint portal

On the search bar on the top right corner of the page, type the candidate's name you'd like to access the background check report

On the candidate's profile, click on the screening tab on the top ribbon.

Under view report click on the paper icon to access the background check report in Asurint

The report will then open on a new tab. Click "SELECT A SCORE"

Click "Pre Adverse Action"

Click "APPLY"

Click "NEXT"

Click the dropdown under opening text for the final adverse action letter

Select the best option for the candidate's situation

Click "SUBMIT"

Tip! The candidate will have 6 days to initiate any dispute with Asurint.

Alert! If the candidate does not dispute, the final adverse action letter will be sent.

Go back to the candidates profile in Avionte Click the drop down under adverse action and select initiated

Click "Update"

Alert! Make sure to check back on the candidate's background check report in Asurint after 6 days to verify the candidate did/ did not take action. If there was no dispute please email Jayme, Laura, and the branch manager to notify the candidate needs to be pulled/ not placed on the assignment due to adverse action

SCORE : PASS

Alert!Once the background check is completed you will receive two emails. \ 1\. Email stating the background check is completed\ 2\. Email with the background check score

Click "SELECT SCORE"

Click pass

Click apply

Go back to the candidate's profile in Avionte, the score will then populate.

Under recruiter review click the green icon to mark the background check as "meets requirements''
