How to Test Meta Conversion API with AnyTrack

Learn how to use the Meta Conversion API Test mode with AnyTrack to inspect and verify the real-time data AnyTrack sends to the Facebook Conversion API. This test mode is compatible with various setups, including affiliate campaigns, eCommerce, and lead generation campaigns.

# Before you start ensure that: 1. Your conversions are tracked in AnyTrack 2. Your Facebook Conversion API is enabled via AnyTrack

In the Anytrack dashboard, Navigate to the Facebook Pixel settings

Open the "Session with test code" option

**Open a new tab and navigate to the Meta Event Manager, and follow these steps:** 1. Open the Test events tab 2. Select the Channel Website 3. Open the "Confirm your server events" option 4. Copy the unique Test Code

Switch to the Tab where Anytrack is open: 1. Paste your Unique **Test Code** 2. The URL of your property will appear with a query parameter that includes your test code 3. Copy the URL and Switch back to the Meta Event Manager tab

Now click on **"Confirm your website’s events are set up correctly"**

Paste the Test URL you copied from the AnyTrack dashboard and Click on the Test Events button

Now go through the funnel as if you were a real visitor and trigger the conversions you want to inspect in the Meta Event Test mode section

Once you've finished to trigger the conversions you can return to the test mode to inspect the events received by Meta CAPI.

## Good to know! 1. Only the `PageView` and `subscribedButtonClick` events are received from the Browser 2. All other Conversion Events should only be received from the Server 3. If you see conversion events such as Purchase or Lead received from the Browser it means that other systems are sending conversions to your Meta Pixel (also known as Dataset).
