How to Track the Status of a Change Request in BruinBuy Plus

This step-by-step guide provides instructions on how to review the approval workflow of a submitted Change Request.

Locate the Submitted Change Request

From the *Home Shopping Dashboard*: 1. Enter the Change Request number in the **Quick Search** bar, or 2. Select the **My Change Requests** hyperlink from the *Orders > Search* menu

**NOTE**: If multiple Change Requests are listed, use the **Quick Search** bar (top center of the page) or **Quick Filters** (left navigation pane) to locate a request by PO number, requestor, or status.

Review Routing and Approval Status

From the *Search-Change Request* page, open the request by clicking the hyperlinked **Change Request number**.

The Search Change Request page displays. The cursor selects a hyperlinked change request number.

To review workflow routing steps, timestamps, and approver actions, click the **History** tab.

The change request page displays. The cursor selects the History tab.

The *Workflow* pane displays the **current workflow step**, including approval status. **NOTE:** If the request is pending approval, the approver’s name and role will appear in the workflow history under the *Current Workflow Step* section. Click the **blue text** to display additional information.
