How to Transfer and Stake INJ Tokens with Coinbase

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to transfer and delegate INJ tokens with Coinbase. For this tutorial, you will need: 1. Coinbase account 2. Metamask account 3. Injective wallet 4. INJ in your Coinbase account 5. ETH in your Metamask account

Navigate to [https://www.coinbase.com/home](https://www.coinbase.com/home)

Click "Transfer"

Click "Send Crypto"

Select the asset you would like to send

Click "Injective"

Enter in the amount of INJ you would like to send

Enter in the Ethereum wallet address associated with your Injective wallet.

If you already know your Ethereum wallet address associated with your Injective wallet, skip to step 15.

To receive your Ethereum wallet address associated with your Injective wallet, navigate to <https://hub.injective.network/>

Click "Connect"

Click "Metamask"

Once you are connected, hover over your Injective wallet address

Select the dropdown menu icon next to your Injective wallet address to display your Ethereum wallet address associated with this account.

Click on this icon to copy your Ethereum wallet address.

Navigate back to Coinbase

Enter your copied wallet address and click "Continue"

Once you confirm the details, click "Send now"

Optional: You can confirm the assets have been sent by clicking on "View transaction"

Navigate back to Injective Hub and click "Wallet" to view your transferred asset

Once you have confirmed your assets have been transferred to your Injective wallet, you must bridge them from the Ethereum network to the Injective network.

Click "BRIDGE"

Confirm that you are bridging from Ethereum to Injective

Enter the total amount that you would like to bridge

If this is the first time that you have bridged an asset to Injective, you will need to set an allowance with your Ethereum wallet. This is simply the approval for the network to access the token's smart contract. Your MetaMask will pop open, and there will be a box to enter in the custom spending cap that you would like to set.

A high allowance will be auto-filled in the option box so you don't have to approve your tokens every time you want to bridge your assets over. Each time you set a new allowance, you will have to pay network fees. You can always configure a lower amount through this box.

Once you have set an allowance, you will be able to transfer your assets to Injective.

Click "Transfer Now"

Review all transaction details and click "Confirm"

Approve the transaction through MetaMask

You will then receive a confirmation notification that will let you know the transfer is now processing.

Once you have confirmed the assets have been bridged over, click "staking"

Choose from any of the validators available

Once you have chosen your validator, click "Delegate Now"

Enter in the amount you would like to delegate

Click "Delegate"

You will then have successfully delegated your assets and helped to validate the Injective network!
