How to Upgrade your HuddleCamHD SimplTrack3 to PTZOptics

Download the PTZOptics SimplTrack3 Firmware, then open the downloads folder

Extract all of the files from the zip.

Open the HuddleCamHD Tracking Software and select your SimplTrack3.

Open the Remote Configuration settings.

View the Upgrade tab.

Browse your computer for the 1.0.79 firmware file you downloaded in Step 1.

Once located, click the Upgrade button to apply the firmware. You will know the firmware is in prograde by the Upgrade Status text circled below.
The Firmware upgrade process can take between 5-10 minutes.

Once the Upgrade Status text changes to "Writing image complete, reboot", you can close the Remote Configuration window.

Click the Start Search button and locate your camera. Verify using the Version column.

Enter the IP address into a web browser to access the camera's web interface.

Login or define the password. This password is the same as the Tracking Software.

Once logged in, move to the System Settings page.

Expand the Advanced section by clicking the arrow below.

Click "Factory Reset"

Click the "Reboot" button to Factory Reset the SimplTrack3.
New Software

Double click the SimplTrack3 Control Software (SCS) to begin the installation process.

Click "More info", then Run anyway.

Continue through the installation wizard

If you receive the following message, it is likely due to the HuddleCamHD Control Software being open. Close the software and click Retry. If this continues to occur, restart your computer and return to Step 12.

Click "Finish".

Open the software and search your network for your camera.

Click "Allow" for the software to search your network.

Once your camera is located, select it and click Add to client.

Enter the login credentials, then click Add. This password is the same as the web interface.

If desired, you can rename your camera from the UN/PW page within Remote Configuration.
How to uninstall HuddleCamHD Tracking Software

Click "This PC"

Double click the "OS (C:)" folder.

Double click the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

Double click the "HuddleCamHD" folder.

Locate and run "unin000.exe".
