How to Upload an Exam in Accommodate

OAS facilitates the Testing Center for students with testing accommodations (extended time, distraction-reduced location, assistive technologies) as well as students who are not registered with OAS for makeup exams in some circumstances, with instructor permission.

**Good to know!** - You can upload your exams through Accommodate, email it to us, or physically deliver it - whatever works best for you! - The Testing Center is open from 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday (8am - 10pm during final exams). - Students must schedule their exams at least three days before their exam date. - Students are expected to take their exam at the same time as the rest of the class, however, if their extended time runs into their next class, they will reschedule it for a different time (but likely within 24 hours). - In the case a student needs to reschedule due to an accommodation-related time conflict, OAS will reach out to you for permission to do this.

Select "Courses".

Select the course you want to upload an exam for.

There are two ways to upload an exam: By selecting Alternate Test Room Bookings or by selecting Exam.

Option 1: Select "Alternative Test Room Bookings"

Here you will see the students who have requested to take an exam in the Testing Center, either in Pending or Approved. Select the student's name to upload an exam, directions, allotted time, and any additional details (such as calculator use, open note, formula card allowed, etc.).

Option 2: Select "Exam"

Select "Add New Exam"

Upload your exam, directions, allotted time, and any additional details (such as calculator use, open note, formula card allowed, etc.) and click Save.

After a student finishes their exam in the Testing Center: - Their start/stop times are recorded. - Their exam is scanned in and digitally returned to you via Accommodate. - The physical exam is delivered in an envelope back to your mailbox.
