How to Upload new Assembly (formerly Copilot) files to Dropbox

This Zap will allow you to back up new files in Assembly (formerly Copilot) to Dropbox (basic). This does not allow for finding or creating folders in Dropbox.

Zapier

As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Zapier, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Navigate to your Zapier dashboard and click + Create to start creating your Zap.

Click the "Search…" field.

Type "Copilot"

Click "Copilot"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "File Created"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose" to select your connected Copilot account, or connect a new one.

Click "Continue"

Click "Test trigger"

Click "Continue"

Type "Dropbox"

Click "Dropbox"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Type "Upload"

Click "Upload File"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose value…"

Select the folder in Dropbox you want to upload the file to. Type "/" to upload to the root of your Dropbox.

Click here.

Click "File"

Click here.

Click "Name"

Click "Continue"

Click "Test action"

Click "Publish"
