How to Use File Share

This guide shows how to use Offstreet's file sharing feature, covering attaching files, uploading, pinning, and deleting.

Attaching a File to an Event

On your computer, open the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.offstreet.io/dashboard)

Click "Events"

Create or view an Event

Go to Portal Settings

Toggle the [[Add File(s)]] setting [[On]]

Upload a file from your computer by clicking [[Upload]] or select a Pinned File

Click [[Browse]] to select the File(s) you'd like to share

Optionally, you can [[pin]] commonly used files for easy access when managing future events

Once uploads are finished, click [[Save]]

Uploading Files to your Company

On your computer, open the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.offstreet.io/dashboard)

Click on your [[Company Name]], and then select [[Files]]

Upload a file from your computer by clicking [[Upload]]

Click [[Browse]] to select the File(s) you'd like to upload

Click [[Save]]

Pinning Commonly Used Files

On your computer, open the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.offstreet.io/dashboard)

Click on your [[Company Name]], and then select [[Files]]

Locate the [[File]] you'd like to pin

Select the [[Pin]] icon

Deleting a File

On your computer, open the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.offstreet.io/dashboard)

Click on your [[Company Name]], and then select [[Files]]

Find the file you’d like to delete, and click the [[checkbox]]

Navigate to the red Delete button and click [[Delete]]

Confirm your selection in the Delete modal, and click [[Delete]]

The Guest Experience

Once guests have completed their registration

Files are shared in the [[Confirmation Details]]. Files can be viewed and downloaded by the user directly from their Browser

Those getting email confirmations will receive attached files in both the [[confirmation]] and [[reminder]] emails.

Individual files that are 10 MB and below will load as attachments in the email (up to 20 MB total), in addition to displaying as links in the "Instructions" section. The rest will just show up as links.
