Navigate to [https://app.surferseo.com/keyword_research/queries](https://app.surferseo.com/keyword_research/queries)

Click the "Keyword" field.

Type in your keywords or phrases you want to rank for

Click "Create Keyword Research" and you can see recommendations of other related searches with keyword metrics like "Monthly search volume" and "keyword difficulty score"

Click "Keyword Magic Tool" to view all related search terms

Head back to Surfer and choose "Content Editor"

Click here and paste the keywords you've chosen to focus on

Optimize Your Content With Surfer SEO

There are many prompts within SEO Surfer that help you optimize your content to rank on page #1 of Google. Try clicking on "headings" for suggestions

Type in your headline to start creating content with Surfer SEO

As you write in the platform, the content score will increase to show how likely you are to rank this content in Google or other search engines

Surfer even shows you which titles, heading, and questions you should be answering in your content.

Once you click on a suggestion they will automatically paste it into your content, saving you loads of time.

Here you can see competitive content that is ranking on page one of Google. This will give you some great reference content to look at.

Now click the "gear" icon

Here you can see what your competitor's content score's are so that you know how high your score should be to outrank them.

Sharing Your Optimized Content

At last, you can share your completed piece of content with your team members to upload it to your website to start ranking!

Remember, this is just for creating content, it's also important to remember to add images, alt tags, schema data, internal links, and so much more to make sure your content will make it to the top of the Search Engines Results Page
