How to add an email stage to your recall sequence - Dental4Windows

Hotdoc

Navigate to the [HotDoc Dashboard](https://www.hotdoc.com.au/dashboard#/)

Click "**Recalls**"

Click "**Template** **Groups**" to edit your templates

Click "**Edit** **Template**" next to the template you'd like to enable emails for

Select the **drop down arrow** under **Reminder patients via**

Navigate to a sequence with email in it and select this. For example, "**2 SMN (7 days) + Email**"

Note the **Recall Summary** now has an email step. **Clicking** **Email** allows you to view the email that HotDoc sends to patients. The patient will need to click 'View message' in the email and enter their last name and DOB to view their health message.

This email message is not customisable

Click "Save"

Repeat these steps for any other templates that you would like to send an email notification for.
