How to add work to schedule via the calendar

Only one time services, or installations should be added to the calendar. It is best practice to add recurring services to routes.

Ext-Tech

Click "Calendar"

Click the drop down menu to choose a crew

Choose a crew

Click "Add Work to Schedule"

Select the service you want to add

Click "Add 1 selected items" located at the bottom

Click and drag the service into the calendar

Click and drag the bottom to extend the time and/or day

Next you will want to change the work order to "scheduled". Click on the service.

Click "Estimate INV-XXXXX"

Click "Edit Estimate / Work Order"

Click the status of the work order - "Pending schedule"

Click "Scheduled"

Be sure to hit save if you are not updating anything else at this stage.

As you order located you will want to update this as well. Follow the steps above to edit the work order. Click "Required"

Click "Ordered"

Click "Save"

It is important to continuously update this information as you schedule and complete work and order locates to keep your workload organized and streamlined. The reporting feature helps to identify where work still needs to be scheduled or locates need to be ordered. The reporting featuring also helps you identify your pipeline.
