How to create a new company in Hubspot

Create a new company from the company index page

Click "Companies"

Click "Create company"

Enter the company domain name of the company name. You must enter at least one of the two to create a company

Fill in any additional info that you can on the company create form.

Click "Create"
Create a new company from a contact record

Click the "Serach Hubspot" field.

Type your desired **Contact Name** and click on it. In our case: "SOP Guy 2 Expert 2"

Go to your right-side bar and Click "+ Add"

Click "Create new"

Fill in any additional info that you can on the company create form.

Click "Create" when done.
Associate existing contacts

Look for your newly created **Company** (or old one) and go to your right-side bar and click "Add+"

Search for an existing contact. In our case: "SOP Guy"

Click "Next"

Click "+Add association label" if you need to add one.

Click "Save"
Associate deals to your newly created company

In your newly created company, go to your right-side bar and scroll down to Deals. Here, Click "+ Add"

You have the option to Create New deal or Add existing one. We'll go ahead and Add Existing one.

Click "NEW SOP - Deal"

Click "Next"

Click "+Add association label". (Add only if needed)

Click "Save"
Populate essential company properties on the left side bar
