How to create a new reservation

Learn how to manually create reservations in RoomRaccoon. Use the calendar by selecting arrival and departure dates, choosing a rate plan, and adding guest details or rooms. Alternatively, use the + icon to create group bookings, select dates, rate plans, and assign rooms. Both methods allow adding existing or new bookers, reviewing the summary, and saving the reservation directly into the calendar.

Roomraccoon

There are 2 ways to manually create a new reservation in RoomRaccoon. 1. Creating a **single reservation** by clicking in the calendar on the preferred date. 2. By using the + icon in the calendar, ideal for **creating a group booking.**

Create a single reservation in the calendar

In your RoomRaccoon calendar, click on any open date.

Here you can chose to either add an existing booker;

Or add a new one.

Select the arrival date

And select the departure date.

Scroll down to select the rate plan from the dropdown menu.

Optional: fill in the guest details.

Once you have filled out all the info, remember to click save.

Scroll back to the **calendar** to find your new reservation.

Using the + icon to create a group reservation

Click on the + icon to create a new (group) booking.

Select the arrival and departure date.

Choose the rate plan. The occupancy will automatically apply.

Select amount of rooms. You can also select from the different room categories.

**Optional:** If you would like to select additional rate plans for the specific room category, or a different date range, click on 'add additional date range or rate plans'. You can then select another batch.

Click next to continue.

Add a registered booker or;

Create a new booker by filling out the mandatory fields.

Give the group booking a name for reference.

Check the summary here

And the **create booking.**

A linked reservation will be created if you have different check-in and check-out dates.

Scroll back to the calendar to find your new reservation.
