How to create new spreadsheet rows in Google Sheets from new Assembly (formerly Copilot) form submissions

This Zap will allow you to automate adding new rows to your Google Sheets worksheets from Assembly (formerly Copilot) form submissions.

Zapier

As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Zapier, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Navigate to your Zapier dashboard and click + Create to start creating your Zap.

Click the "Search…" field.

Type "Copilot"

Click "Copilot"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "Form Response Completed"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose" to select your connected Copilot account, or connect a new one.

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose value…"

Select the Copilot form you want to use to create the row in Google Sheets. You form questions should match the fields in Google Sheets.

Click "Continue"

Click "Test trigger"

Click "Continue"

Type "Google Sheets"

Click "Google Sheets"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "Create Spreadsheet Row"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose value…"

Select the spreadsheet you want to update.

Click "Choose value…"

Select the worksheet you want to update.

You form responses should match the fields in Google Sheets you want to add. Click on the field input.

Click the form answer that corresponds to the field.

Repeat steps 25-26 for all fields you wish to add.

Click "Continue"

Click "Test action"
