How to create records in Airtable for new Assembly (formerly Copilot) clients

Airtable
As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Zapier, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Go to Zapier and create a new Zap

Click here.

Click the "Search…" field.

Type "Copilot"

Click "Copilot"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "Client Created"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose" to select your Copilot account, or connect a new one

Click "Continue"

Click "Test trigger"

Click "Continue with selected record"

Click the "Search…" field.

Type "Airtable"

Click "Airtable"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "Create Record"

Click "Continue"

Select or add your Airtable account and click "Continue"

Click "Choose value…" and select the base you want from Airtable

Click "Choose value…" and select the table you want from Airtable

Enter the information that you want on the record

You can pick the information from the created client and add it to the table

After entering the information click "Continue"

Click "Test step"
