How to create records in Airtable for new Assembly (formerly Copilot) clients

As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Make, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Create a new scenario in Make

Click the + button to add a trigger. Search for and select "Copilot"

Click "Watch Created Clients"

Click "Add" or "Create a webhook"

Name your webhook and then Click "Copy address to clipboard"

Click "OK"

In a new tab go to the Copilot Dashboard

Click "Settings"

Click "API"

Click "New webhook"

Label the webhook and paste the webhook URL from Make into the Endpoint URL field

Click the "Events to send" field and select "client.created"

Click "Update"

Click "Confirm"

Add a new module, search, and then select “Airtable”

Click "Create a Record"

Click "Add"

Click the dropdown and select "Airtable OAuth"

Click the "Connection name" field type the name you want and then click save

If you are logged into Airtable a popup will appear. Click "Add a base" and select the base you would like

Click "Grant access"

Click here and select the base

Click here and select the table you want to add the information to

Click the input fields for the table and add the information you want from the client that was created

For example you can add their name if you have a column in your email for their name

And same for email

Once you are done Click "OK"

To save press [[control]] + [[s]] for PC or [[cmd]] + [[s]] for Mac
