How to create records in Airtable from new Assembly (formerly Copilot) form submissions

This Zap will allow you to create a record in Airtable from a Assembly (formerly Copilot) form submission. Your form questions should match the fields you wish to update in Airtable.

Zapier

As of September 30, 2025, we’ve rebranded to Assembly. The steps below remain the same. When searching in Zapier, look for Assembly (formerly Copilot) and this logo.

Navigate to your Zapier dashboard and click + Create to start creating your Zap.

Click the "Search…" field.

Type "Copilot"

Click "Copilot"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "Form Response Completed"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose" to select your connected Copilot account, or connect a new one.

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose value…"

Select the form you want to use to trigger the record creation in Airtable.

Click "Continue"

Click "Test trigger"

Click "Continue"

Type "Airtable"

Click "Airtable"

Click the "*EventRequired" field.

Click "Create Record"

Click "Continue"

Click "Choose" to select your connected Airtable account, or connect a new one. Then, click "Continue".

Click "Choose value…"

Select the Airtable Base to update.

Click "Choose value…"

Select the table in the base you wish to update.

You form responses should match the fields in Airtable you want to add. Click on the field input.

Click the answer to the related field.

Repeat steps 25 + 26 as needed for all fields.

Click "Continue"

Click "Test action"
