How to create your public profile page on the IW Creative Network Directory

Go to the website <https://iwcreativenetwork.com/>

Click "Log In" top right

Enter your log in username and password

Click "You" top right.

Click "Edit your profile"

Depending on which you are, Click "Individual" OR "Organisation"

Click this file field to select a banner image as your main image. Max file size 3MB.

Click this email field to enter your email address.

Click this email field to enter your public email address which will appear on your public profile page.

Click this text field to enter your first name

Click this text field to enter your surname

Click this text field to enter your full public name which will appear on your public profile page.

Click this text field to enter your location. Put as much or as little detail as you'd like in this field. I've entered "Cowes" which will cause a map to appear on my public profile page of Cowes. If you just put "Isle of Wight" it automatically centres to the middle of the Island.

Click this text field or leave blank if you prefer not to have your phone number public.

Click this dropdown to select your main discipline from the ones listed.

Click this text field to enter a mini bio which will appear at the top of your public profile page. and on the main directory page under your photo. 150 max character count (with spaces). TIP: write all your text in advance onto a Word doc/Text file and cut and paste from there.

Click this text field to enter your full bio - about you and your practice. 1000 max character count (with spaces). TIP: write all your text in advance onto a Word doc/Text file and cut and paste from there.

Click here to create hyperlinks within your text.

Click the "Name of site" field and write what you want to appear on your public profile page as a hyperlink.

Click this field to enter the link you want people to visit.

Click "Add another" to add more socials/websites/URLs to your page.

If you want to removes any, click "×" to delete.

Add up to six images for your gallery. Drag images to move them into different positions. Make sure to title your image files as the captions you would like them to be read, as they will appear under each image. Use the free Compressor tool to ensure images are below 2MB each. <https://compressor.io/>

Click "Submit" and you're done.

If you have successfully uploaded everything correctly, you will have received this message. If you haven't, it will have a red 'star' next to what you need to change - please remember to check all text etc if you need to complete again.

Make sure to check your public profile is working and looking ok. Click "Directory" in the top right: <https://iwcreativenetwork.com/directory/>

Click the dropdown of which discipline you're under.

Click your profile.

Make sure all your text reads as it should

Continue checking main bio text.

Click on your images to expand.
