How to edit and publish a Scribe

This editing and publishing workflow ensures that your teams can collaborate on updating documents with confidence and prevent accidental sharing of incomplete or incorrect steps, ensuring work gets done right. Only available to Enterprise users.

Scribe

Click "Edit" ...

Make your edits. As you start updating the Scribe, you'll notice this green tag that says "Changes Autosaved." This lets you know your changes are being saved to the draft. \ \ The changes you make will not be visible to Scribe viewers as you have yet to publish them.

When you're done making edits, click "Done Editing."

Anyone with edit access to this Scribe will see this yellow banner stating there are unpublished changes for this Scribe. To view or publish the changes, click "Edit."\ \ Viewers of this Scribe will not see this yellow banner.

When you are ready to publish changes, click "Publish"

If you'd like, you can give this newly published version a name. This step is optional.

When you're ready to publish, click "Publish this Version." Now, anyone viewing the Scribe will see your recently published updates.
