Scribe
Confluence
Some platforms, like Confluence, will accept a URL to display embedded content, even if they won't accept a full iframe code snippet. For general embedding practices, see this Scribe: [How to embed a Scribe](https://scribehow.com/viewer/How_to_embed_a_Scribe_directly_and_copy_the_URL_directly_when_needed__Wy7uhzaZRYyBbCykr6FqaA)
You do also have the option to just embed the direct link to your Scribe, However, be aware that if you simply embed direct URL to your Scribe without any changes, you'll see extra header content in your embedded view, and you won't be able to take advantage of the Slides or Movie options.
Obtain Embed Link from Scribe
1
On the Scribe or Page you want to embed, click the **Share** button in the top right corner.
2
Switch to the **Embed** section.
3
Use the buttons to select which **Viewing Mode** you prefer for your embedded Scribe. Whichever mode you choose will be passed through in the type of embed code, so that the code you copy is pre-set to appear in this mode.
4
You can use the Options button to set preferences, such as skipping the Scribe title and description. **However, the SIZE options of Large and Small will not carry over with this workaround, so your selection here will not be relevant.**
5
Once you've selected your preferred options, click **Copy Embed Code** to copy the preset embed code to your clipboard.
6
Paste the copied embed code into any text editor.
7
You'll see that a portion of the code is a web address, starting after [[<iframe src="]]. Select that URL, and copy it. Paste that URL into the platform you want to embed into, and your embedded Scribe will populate with the settings you configured in the Share window.
Embed into Confluence
8
Navigate to the Confluence page you want to add the Scribe to.
9
Click edit
10
Type " /iframe and select that option
11
Click the "URL\*" field and paste the embed URL from your Scribe.
12
We recommend setting width to 800px, and the height to 1000px.
13
Confirm your embed works
