How to exclude lessons from your curriculum

Only Maestro admins and SLT users will have the access rights to do this. If you have teacher access, you will need to speak to to your Maestro admins or SLT to complete the coverage exclusions.

Click "Design and lead"

Click "Live curriculum"

Click "Curriculum sequence"

Click the image of the project that you wish to exclude lessons from (making sure not to click on the 'Remove' button).

Click "Coverage exclusions"

Either group the lessons by stage or subject.

Click "Click to exclude" to exclude a lesson.

Click "Click to exclude all" to exclude all lessons.

Click "Click to include" include a lesson which has previously been excluded.

Click "Save"

The excluded lessons will then be labelled as such within the project. The intended coverage for your school will also reflect that these lessons have been excluded and teachers will not be able to add these lessons to their planner.
