How to find a book chapter, using Lexis+

Go to Lexis+<https://oxfordbrookes.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://plus.lexis.com/uk?identityprofileid=GD46SJ57559>

Click on the dropdown arrow on the right of the long search box

Choose "Books & Journals"

Type your search words in the box

Click on the magnifying glass to run your search.

To just see book chapters, click on 'books' down the left of your results.

To narrow your results down, click "Search within results" and try adding one or more extra search words.

You can also get more precise results by clicking on 'practice areas and topics' and choosing from their list.

Note how each of your search words is highlighted in a different colour. You can quickly see which chapters use your words the most and therefore which might be most useful to read.

To read a chapter, click on its title

If the chapter is useful, click on the download icon to save it to your computer

Click "Table of Contents" down the left to jump to other chapters in the same book
