How to find and download metadata files

So, you’ve narrowed down your data of interest using some combination of the data exploration and downloading tools above—but how do you find and download the associated metadata? Metadata files are associated with specific studies. Regardless of how you narrowed down your data of interest, there is only one way to download metadata files. On the ELITE Portal , navigate to **Explore > Studies**

Find the study you want to download metadata for and click on that study. You can do this by scrolling on the **Studies** page or using the filtering tools.

On the resulting **Study Details** page, click on the **Study Data** tab

Scroll down to the **Study Metadata** section to view the available metadata files

Determine the metadata files you would like to download and click on the **Download Options** button in the top right corner
