How to generate Challenge certificates

Tip! Students' reading records and certificates travel with their accounts - this means that coordinators can generate historic certificates for any students currently appearing at their school, even if the certificate is for a year they were not attending your school (e.g. a high school can generate a student's certificates from primary school). If a student's account no longer appears at your school, you will not be able to generate their certificate.

Click on "Reports"

Click on "School Reports"

Select the year and grade you want to run the report for from the dropdown menus. \ We suggest leaving the grade field blank for small cohorts, and downloading by grade for larger cohorts (you will need to select the grade each time).

Click "Generate"

Note: If you are trying to run the report for a previous year's certificate, you will need to select the historic YEAR but the student's current GRADE (or alternatively, leave the grade filter blank)

The PDF file will appear in your downloads folder. Click on it to open the file.

Click "Save" and save the PDF to your computer

Open the PDF file and check each student's name is spelt correctly.

Note: If a student's name appears incorrectly on the certificate report, adjust the students' name, then re-run the certificate report. Press [[Ctrl]] + [[P to bring up the print dialogue]]

Select your printer and ensure the paper size is set to A4

Check all your printer settings are correct, insert any special paper, then click "Print"

Note: If students are missing from your certificate report and you have validated their reading record, it is likely they are eligible for a Gold or Platinum certificate this year. To check which students are eligible for a Gold or Platinum report, run the SRR report.
