How to integrate Avigilon (ACC 7, Unity) with Triton Cloud

This guide provides a step-by-step process for integrating Avigilon with Triton Cloud. When a Triton device triggers a configured event (e.g. motion), this integration automatically creates a bookmark in the Avigilon system at the associated camera. The bookmark marks the footage timeframe around the alert, making it easy for security operators to review relevant video evidence.

Requirements for this integration: 1. Avigilon Control Center Software 2. Port forwarding rule on the firewall that will point towards the IP Address of the ACC server over port xxxx. Our external IP address is [[44.207.215.123 ]] 3. Installation of the ACC7 WEP API Service from Motorola from <https://www.avigilon.com/software-downloads?searchQuery=web>

We recommend you create a new user in your ACC Software for this integration specifically. Please provide required permission to the user. The user has to be able to bookmark events.

Navigate to <https://app.tritonsensors.com/client/integration?current=avigilon>

Add the Port Forwarded IP Address of the ACC Server.

Add the Port Forwarded Port.

Enter the username of the user account you want to integrate the Avigilon System with.

Enter the password of the user account you want to integrate the Avigilon System with.

Copy the camera name of the cameras you want to integrate with.

Paste the `camera name` to the `Camera ID` field of the Triton Device ID that you want to integrate the camera with. Note: The camera name should be exact to the one in ACC Software.

Click "Save"

Click "Run Test"

Select the Device ID that you added the `Camera Name` for.

Click "Trigger *"

Select any trigger. If no trigger names appear, you need to select and save them from https://app.tritonsensors.com/client/integration first.

Click "Run Test"

If the test ran successful, it should show "Bookmark created successfully in Avigilon". Otherwise, troubleshoot based on the error message shown.

Common Errors and what they could mean: 1. "Session ID was not returned from Avigilon login." :The credentials provided may be incorrect or invalid. 2. "Camera with name '{camera_name}' not found in Avigilon cameras.": The camera name you entered doesn't exist in your system. There could be a typo mistake. 3. "Failed to create bookmark in Avigilon" : Possible issue with permission for the user to create the bookmark in Avigilon.
