How to manage a symptom notification (alert) quick reference

Alerts that have reached your facility's threshold settings require closure by a care team member. A response back to the patients PROmpt® account is an automated part of the workflow.

Navigate to the patient's alert via the Notifications page or the selected patient's Carevive Dashboard

View the information about the symptom directly in the alert banner. *You may also navigate to the Symptom section of the patient's dashboard to view additional details and graph views

Tip! If the symptom shown has a history of alerts available, toggling from "Open" to "All" will provide a list view of historical details

Click "--Please Select--" to view available responses available for the alert

Select desired response(s) from drop down for each symptom alert

Tip! One or more alerts may be responded to in a single interaction

Click here to view the patient-facing response language or return to the care team short-hand

OPTIONAL: Click "Add Notes/Comments" for Internal Use

OPTIONAL: Click "Add Notes/Comments" for patient viewing in PROmpt

Click this dropdown to select your credentials

Enter your initials if you are not selecting yourself as the reviewer

Click "Acknowledge" to document alert response as a pdf and to authorize delivery of response to patient via PROmpt

Tip! Patients will receive a text message or email to notify them of your response
