How to move Saved Searches from your Custom Folder to My Folder

This guide outlines how to move saved searches from your custom folder to the general My Folder on the classic user interface so your searches will sync to My Dashboard. Following this procedure ensures your saved searches will sync across to the My Dashboard on new EBSCOhost. You can also download a copy of your custom folder content to Excel via Projects on My Dashboard to ensure you can access all your saved content.

Navigate to [https://search.ebscohost.com ](https://web.p.ebscohost.com/ehost/folder?vid=6&sid=6cefe910-ac61-4d19-81b6-2d279ea1297a%40redis)

Click "Folder"

Tip! At this step sign into your folder if you have not done so already.

Access your custom folder.

Click into your custom folder.

Click on your "Saved Searches"

Select and move or copy your saved search.

Click the checkbox next to the saved search you wish to move or copy.

Tip! At this step if you have many saved searches with similar topics it is recommended to rename your saved search to include the name of the custom folder you are moving it from. This will make it easier when organising My Dashboard on the new user interfaces and [creating projects](https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/Creating-Projects?language=en_US). You may also download a copy of your custom folder content via Projects in My Dashboard on the new user interfaces. Click "Move To"

Tip! You can choose to move (to sync) or copy the saved search to My Folder. **Remember** only saved searches in **My Folder** will sync to My Dashboard. Saved searches in custom folders will never sync.

Click "My Folder"

Your saved search will now be synced to the new EBSCOhost. You can access your saved searches on My Dashboard.
