**The content of this article concerns regulations applicable within the Polish healthcare system.** To be able to issue e-prescriptions, it is necessary to obtain the appropriate certificates from the P1 system. In order to generate a P1 certificate, you must have an active account in the Register of Entities Performing Medical Activities (RPWDL)

After filling in the data, download the "CSIOZ Generator"

Note: Don't close the browser you're logged into RPWDL with.

After downloading and running the CSIOZ Generator on your computer - click "Generuj pliki CSR"

The generator will ask you to enter a password - create one and remember it (you will need it later).

The generated CSR files will be saved in the same folder where the Generator is saved.

Return to your web browser, to the RPWDL platform.

In the application form, attach the generated TLS.CSR and WSS.CSR files

After selecting the consents, in the next step \*PEM files will appear available for download.

These files should preferably be saved in the same folder as the Generator.

Open the Generator and select "Po złożeniu wniosku, generuj pliki certyfukatów".

Specify the location of the downloaded \*PEM files (select only the folder; you may not see its contents).\ Enter the password (the same one used to generate the CSR files).

The system will generate TLS and WSS certificates with the .p12 extension.

Save these files - they will be necessary when configuring e-prescriptions in Hyggio.
