How to put in an alternating schedule in UKG Dimensions

Click on the three-line symbol.

Click on Schedule.

Click "Schedule Planner with Absence Calendar"

Double-click on the employee of your choice.

Under Define Pattern, replace the number '1' with '2'. This will create an alternating pattern.

Under Start Pattern On, you can choose which week to start the schedule pattern on, in this case, 1 or 2.

Click on the first scheduled day and add in the time, (for example, 8a-5p).

Be sure to do so for the secondary week as well.

To make edits to the shifts, simply right click on them.

Click this edit.

Here you can add in a lunch break and/or transfer. See our other guides to see how if you are not familiar.

Click "Apply" once you are done.

Click Save and you're done!
