How to send a message from a client in Assembly (formerly Copilot) to Slack

Create a new scenario in Make

Click the + button to add a trigger. Search for and select "Copilot"

Click "Watch Sent Messages"

Click "Add" or "Create a webhook"

Name your webhook then select or add your Copilot Account

Click "Save"

Click "Copy address to clipboard"

In a new tab go to the Copilot Dashboard

Click "Settings"

Click "New webhook"

Label the webhook and paste the webhook URL from Make into the Endpoint URL field

Click the "Events to send" field

Click "message.sent"

Click "Update"

Now it's time to test the trigger by submitting the form as your test client. Right-click here

Click "Run this module only"

Go to your client test portal and send a message as your test client

Back in Make, you should see that the trigger ran successfully

Add a new module and select “Copilot”

Name your connection then click "Save"
