In your Powerpoint application, open the slide deck you wish to share and Click "Slide Show".

Click "Set Up Slide Show"

Click the second option under "Show type", "Browsed by an individual (window)"

Click "OK"

Click "Play from Start".

Click "Panopto Video"

Click "Create"

Click "Panopto Capture"

Click "Screens and Apps"

Click "Window"

and Click on your "Powerpoint Slide Show",

Click share to add it to your recording.

Now your powerpoint presentation will show as the background of your recording. You will want to navigate through the slides from the "Powerpoint" window.
