How to sign up for 1Password

Follow these instructions to sign up for 1Password using a computer and not on a mobile device.
It is recommended to add multiple devices (e.g. mobile phone) to avoid being locked out of your 1Password account.

Click the **Activate your Account** link in the email you receive from 1Password.

Click **Sign in with Okta** button on the 1Password webpage.

Download the 1Password app from the [1Password website](https://1password.com/downloads). Note: If the website doesn't auto-detect your operating system, you can select it by clicking the drop down under "Download 1Password for".

Once the 1Password application is installed, click **Sign In**.

Fill out the following fields: - Email address: Type your Rollins email address - Sign-in address: Type rollinscollege Click **Next**.

Click **Sign in with Okta**.

If prompted, click the option to Open 1Password. This pop-up will vary based on your browser.

From your browser where you are logged into 1Password, click on the pop-up to Transfer Key to a new app.

Copy the verification code from the pop-up.

Paste the verification code in the pop-up on the 1Password app and click **Submit**.
