How to take a quiz with Respondus LockDown Browser (RLDB)

Log in to VU Collaborate, navigate to the [Student Induction](https://vucollaborate.vu.edu.au/d2l/home/16120) space, then on the navbar, click **"Assessments"**

Then click **"Quizzes"** from the dropdown menu

Click **"Sample Test Quiz- Requires Respondus LockDown Browser"**

Read the instructions, then scroll to the bottom of the page and when ready, click **"Launch LockDown Browser".** Follow the instructions, by clicking **"Open LockDown Browser"** in the popup window, then **log in**, to launch and take the quiz.

If LockDown Browser is not installed on your computer, you will get an alert message. To download, click **"Download Respondus LockDown Browser"**

On the LockDown Browser page, click the **"DOWNLOAD"** button

To install LockDown Browser, from the top right, click the **"Downloads icon",** locate the file with the name **"LockDownBrowser-(version-number).exe",** click and follow the installation instructions.

Return to the quiz, and click **"Try launching again".** Follow the instructions, by clicking **"Open LockDown Browser"** in the popup window, then **log in**, to launch and take the quiz.

When complete, click "Done"
