How to take a quiz with Respondus LockDown Browser (RLDB)

Log in to VU Collaborate, navigate to the [Student Induction](https://vucollaborate.vu.edu.au/d2l/home/16120) space.

On the main menu, select "Assessments" then "Quizzes".

Select the "Sample Test Quiz".

One you have read the instructions and are ready to start your quiz, click "Launch LockDown Browser".

If the browser does not launch, you **may not** have LockDown Browser installed! Click "Done".

If LockDown Browser is not installed on your computer, you will get an alert message. To download, click **"Download Respondus LockDown Browser"**

On the LockDown Browser page, click the **"DOWNLOAD"** button.

Open the **Downloads Tab** in the top right corner of your browser and launch the **"LockDownBrowser-\[version-number\].exe"**. The installer will walk you through setting up Respondus.

Once the browser is installed, return to the quiz and click **"Try launching again"**. Log into the browser and click "**Start Quiz**".

After submitting your quiz and closing the browser, click "Done".
