How to transfer a Webflow project to your own account

Webflow
Setting up billing information

Go to [https://webflow.com](https://webflow.com/) and sign up or log in.

After you log in, the [[Dashboard]] will open. If you have more than one workspace, select the correct one from the dropdown menu in the top left.

Click on [[Billing]].

Fill in your billing information and save it using the [[Save Changes]] button.
Project transfer

Let us know the **email address you used to create the account** so we can transfer the project.

Prepare your company credit card.

Once we transfer the website, a green box will appear in the [[Dashboard]] tab with a request to accept the project transfer. Click on [[Accept and transfer the site]].

Choose the workspace where you want to place the project and click on [[Accept]].
Your website is now temporarily **offline**.
Hosting payment

In your dashboard, click on the [[Site settings]] gear icon for the project.

In the sidebar menu, click on the [[Plans]] tab.

Choose a suitable **Site plan**. *The Basic, CMS, and Business plans differ based on your website's features. You will need a CMS plan if your website has forms or editable databases.*

Fill in the payment information and pay for the hosting.
Linking with a domain

In the sidebar menu, click on the [[Publishing]] tab.

Click on [[Add a custom domain]].

Choose [[Manually add domain]].

Enter your domain name (e.g., domena.com) and confirm using the [[Add domain]] button.

If you want to link the website to multiple domains, add them and then mark the www version of the main domain using the [[Make default]] button. *If the project has not been previously published on your domain, you will need to change the DNS records in your domain's administration (e.g., on WEDOS) according to the numbers shown here.*
Form setting

If there are forms on the website, go to the [[Forms]] tab to check their settings.

During the transfer, it is usually necessary to re-enter the recipients and adjust the format of the incoming emails.

Once you have checked the form settings, click on [[Save]].
Publishing the website

In the top right, click on [[Publish]].

Check the domains where you want to publish the website, and click on [[Publish to selected domains]].
Your website is back online!
