How to use PowerPoint Live in Teams

PowerPoint Live offers you helpful tools to present in Teams. Learn how to use it in less than 1 minute.

Click Share

Select a PowerPoint presentation from your OneDrive

Or click 'Browse my computer'

Select a presentation. Click "Open"

If your presentation is already open in PowerPoint for Windows or Mac, go to the file and click 'Present in Teams'.

Your presentation is now shared. As a presenter, you have a unique view that lets you control your presentation.

Participants don't see the presenter view.

Use the navigation arrows to go forward and backward.\ You can also jump ahead or go backwards by clicking the thumbnails.

Select 'Go to slide' to see a grid view of all slides in the presentation. Select one to jump to it.

As a participant, you can also navigate through the presentation without affecting anyone else. Go back to where your presenter is by clicking 'Sync to Presenter'.

Turn the 'Private view' off if you don't want participants to independently navigate through the presentation.

To translate the text on de slides, click 'Translate slides'. \ The translation will only be visible for you.

Use the **Laser pointer**, **Pen**, **Highlighter**, or **Eraser** to clearly reference items on your slides.

Click the Layout pop-up button

Click 'Pop out' to open the presentation in a separate window.

Click 'Stop sharing' to stop sharing.

Click "Stop presenting"
