How to use Scribe Sidekick

Scribe Sidekick brings Scribe directly to you — no matter where you are on the internet. Next time you’re on a website and think “hmm…how do I do that thing again?” just click Sidekick in the extension.

Sidekick Basics

Click the Scribe extension

Click "How do I..." field to view all the Scribes and Pages related to the website you're on

You'll see a list of all Scribes and Pages created for this website by your Scribe team. Click one to view it.

You can follow the Scribe or Page while you complete the process side-by-side

Filtering and Searching

Click "Popular" to sort the list of documents by popular, new or viewed

Search by keyword to find what a specific document you're looking for

Accessing the Community

Click "How do I..." then "All Results" to find the "Community" tab to view Scribes and Pages created by our Community (people otuside of your Scribe team)

Capture a Scribe

Open the Scribe extension and select "Start Capture"

As you walk through your process, you'll see the steps and screenshots get added to your Scribe — right in your browser's side panel (aka Sidekick!)\ \ You can pause, blur or delete your Scribe or toggle the Voice Transcript feature from the Sidekick capture controls
